Here's today's topic for discussion.,.,
Hands up all those who think it's ok to mark your ball with one of those long straight lines for lining up purposes ?
I, of course, am ever the Purist .,., and for me that's CHEATING !?

You don't have to use a marker as the manufacturers leave a nice straight line where they have their logo. Is using a straight line or logo cheating? Not according the rules.

If everyone can do it if they choose to, I think it's a level playing field for everyone to be honest! (I reckon that there are a lot more things in golf that are much more inequitable, eg being penalised if your ball moves in the wind when addressing it whilst putting.)
